La banda venerable de death metal Unleashed  fue formada por Johnny Hedlund después de una limitación en Nihilist, una banda que eventualmente  produjo Entombed. Nunca siendo una de las bandas mas tecnicas, Unleashed sin embargo siendo considerados una de las mejores bandas de la old school del death metal sueco claro solo sus primeros cds, siempre con la misma alineación, antes de la liberacion de Warrior liberado en el 96. Varios años más tarde, aunque labanda reformada, y el álbum de reaparición, Hell's Unleashed, ahora ha sido liberado.
